Extra note: Here is a link to the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS).  It’s a good idea to take this at different times if you start to feel too down, for too long – we like to recommend taking it at least at 2 and 6 weeks, but mood shift concerns can happen up to 18 months postpartum.  This is a great tool for awareness and transparency which help those dealing with these emotions.  Your support people may even want to save this link and to ask you questions without seeing the scoring points.
